Trolls are faeries of the Winter Court. They first appear in in "Restoration of Faith".
Description[]
Hideous giant thugs over ten feet tall, they sound like foghorns.[1] There are thirteen of them in Mab's guard.[2]

In "Restoration of Faith", the troll Gogoth guarding a bridge refused to let Harry Dresden and Faith Astor pass demanding his right to eat the girl who because she misbehaved. Karrin Murphy killed him. This is how Harry and Murphy first met.[3]
Summer Knight[]

In Summer Knight, on the battlefield in the valley of the Stone Table a troll stood and blinked at Harry with his werewolf escort, then turned and walked away to the battle.[4]
Proven Guilty[]

In Proven Guilty, Lash mentions that trolls have crafted thorn manacles for at least a thousand years.[5]
Harry Dresden found numerous dead Troll bodies burned by Hellfire. They had ornate weaponry—they were Mab's guard. When Dresden held his hand over one, he felt the psychic residue of its last memories, sending images of his violent death.[6]
Cold Days[]

In Cold Days, some trolls attend at Mab's birthday and introduction party for him and sing Happy Birthday.[1]
