Sylphs[Footnote 1] are Winter Fae. They first appear in Summer Knight.
Description[]
Sylphs are winged faeries. Many took part in the Faerie War.
At a distance, they look like lovely young girls with wings; close up, they have bloodied claws and razor sharp wings.[1]

Summer Knight[]

In Summer Knight, when first arriving in the valley of the Stone Table, Harry Dresden and his escort of Alphas and changelings passed a wounded Sylph. After speaking with Mab, Dresden's team skirted around the battlefield passing a group of them, who were among Mab's troops behind Winter's battle lines. The Sylphs crouched over a mound of bloody, stinking carrion, squabbling like vultures. They had blood all over their faces, breasts and dragonfly wings.[1]
Blood Rites[]
- Main article: Blood Rites
In Blood Rites, Harry Dresden told Thomas Raith about a favor he did for the Summer Lady, Lily, stopping a rogue Storm Sylph from setting off tornados in Oklahoma.[Footnote 2] A tornado chased him.[2]
