The Stygian Sisterhood, sometimes known as the Ladies of the Dark, is an organization that appears in the novelette Backup.

In Backup, it sets up an elaborate ploy to have the book Lexicon Malos published as a way to power, but, thanks to Thomas Raith is ultimately unsuccessful.[1]
