Smith, Cohen and Mackleroy is an upscale law firm in downtown Chicago. It is first mentioned in Turn Coat.


The law office takes up the entire twentyfourth floor of a building in the shadow of the Sears Tower, and has a view of the lake. Evelyn Derek works there.[1]

In Turn Coat, Molly Carpenter helps Harry Dresden get the name of the firm from Vincent Graver.[2] Dresden visits it to track down who is behind sending hitters to kill him and abduct Donald Morgan. He's ultimately on a mission to find the Council's traitor behind the Morgan's frame.[1]
