Psychometry is a branch of magic which allows the practitioner to detect the magical and emotional residue present in objects. It is seen in "Down Town".

Psychometry belongs to the fine magic branch requiring sensitivity and empathy.[1]

"Down Town"[edit | edit source]

In "Down Town", Molly Carpenter shows her gift for psychometry by reading a pocket watch, which has absorbed the last moments of its last owner. The experience has left her scared and trembling, but she is able to state that the killer is non-human and just beginning its rampage.[1]
