Just thought to note that in cases such as Nicodemus Archleone, just a link in an otherwise blank section isn't very good for SEO. There should be an abridged version of the content being linked to, so for example Description section would have a short summary of the /Description subpage, & same for In the series etc.
Haha, will keep it up where I can. I'm not cut out for the much of the other website stuff, so hopefully evens out!
I will take a look at all those "description" and "in the series" sections when I get a chance. The upcoming week looks promising time-wise...
Hey, random question if I can. Do we use redirects here at all? Was just thinking that it might be easier in some cases to use various terms to refer to the same page (ie Nemesis / Contagion or Order of the Blackened Denarius / Denarian etc.)
These may already exist, I am not sure - in which case is there a way I can see which pages do so?
I am a massive noob when it comes to this wiki stuff, so please forgive if its an obvious answer or whatever. Just a random thought bubble I had.
I uh, am not really a fan, not sure I can take Mab seriously anymore now that I know that's what her voice sounds like xD I LOVE that they're branching out & that the book is coming soon, but this kinda messed a lot up. Do you think we should update character pages to use the actors from this trailer? They got Dresden, Thomas, Lara, Murphy, Mab, Marcone, Justine, Ramirez, Molly, Maggie, Ebenezar…
Also HOLY SHIT THEY JUST ANNOUNCED BATTLEGROUND THE 17TH BOOK
I must be getting old, I didn't notice Battle Ground - I've placed the order on amazon. PDF of course. :)
As you may have noticed, I've started the Peace Talks category. Lemme read through the chapter and see how far I can go. Actor names is a though question. If it's only their character's names, I would avoid modifying thir character's pages, way too little info. A mention on Peace Talks page seems more sensible, under a "Trailer" heading.
Apparently, according to our SEO specialists, quote sections are actually just fine & might actually help SEO a bit. Just thought to pass that info on to you, since I think I was wrong about being opposed to quote sections before.
Hey, I was just adding info about Mike the mechanic based on the newly released story "Mike" on jim's website yesterday. I want to provide accurate references but I'm pretty new to the whole page editing thing.
What still needs to happen:
- Add "Mike" short story page
- Add new short story to the "uncollected" cattegory in the stories pulldown
- Add proper references to the additions I made on the "Mike Atagi" page
I'm more than happy to write the actual content for these pages, I just don't want to start messing with stuff and breaking the whole Wiki by accident. So any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks. So as to not break your wiki, I think I'll just leave it as-is until you can take a look at it. Part of the problem is that I can't create a new page for the short story "Mike" because 'mike' already redirects to the "Mike Atagi" character page.
