Dresden Files

The Jade Court is a vampire court mentioned in Death Masks.

Description[]

The Jade Court rarely acts outside of the Yangtze River valley,[Footnote 1] where its existence, though not its location, is common knowledge. Very secretive, not offering nor responding to any invitation, they deal with outsiders only indirectly, through middlemen. Though they are not signatories of the Unseelie Accords, they're treated as if they were due to the way they've treated those who show them too much disrespect.[1]

Its members are isolationists, to such a degree that the idea of Chin[Footnote 2] is relatively new to them.[2]

Jade Court vampires feed on breath, apparently capable of killing from the hotel across the street.[3]

In the series[]

Death Masks[]

In Death Masks, Shiro Yoshimo mentions them as operating in China, Japan and Southeast Asia, being very secretive and respecting the Unseelie Accords.[4]
