Harry Carpenter, also called Hank, is the seventh child and third son of Michael and Charity Carpenter. He has blue-grey eyes.[1] He first appears in Grave Peril.

Harry Carpenter is named after Harry Dresden.[2]
Death Masks[]

In Death Masks, upon meeting Harry Dresden, Amanda Carpenter gives him the nickname "Bill", on the basis that there is already a "Harry" in the family.[3] Later, young Harry Carpenter almost touches Lasciel's coin but is prevented from doing by Dresden, who picks it up himself.[1]
The Warrior[]

In The Warrior, young Carpenter welcomes his namesake by climbing on him, and developing selective deafness when his mother protests Dresden is not a jungle gym. He then jumps on his father, who is rescued by Alicia, getting young Harry to have a bath.[4]
Skin Game[]

In Skin Game, Harry Carpenter is in the middle of his adolescent growth spurt. He is going by Hank, possibly to differentiate him from his namesake. He is willing to play wild games with Maggie and his sisters, and later gives his father Amoracchius to give back to Dresden.[5]
