Great Expectations[Footnote 1] is a novel by Charles Dickens.[Footnote 2] It is mentioned in The Warrior.

First published in 1860-1861, serialized on the periodical All Year Round, it is one of the most acclaimed novels by Dickens. A bildungsroman, it depicts the personal growth and development of an orphan nicknamed Pip.[Footnote 1]
