White Council

Bill Meyers is a warden in Dallas. He is sometimes called Wild Bill.[1] He first appears in White Night

In White Night, Meyers is a young warden at Camp Kaboom, training new wardens. He is a Texan, with a western rural drawl.[2]

In Turn Coat, Meyers is a warden from Dallas whose city within the area that Harry Dresden commands as Regional Commander of Eastern and Midwestern United States.[3]

He is one of the wardens Harry Dresden is on good terms with. He answered his phone on the second ring with a "Howdy", and is always polite to Dresden ever since he saw him do something scary.[3]

In the seriesEdit

White NightEdit

In White Night, Meyers is standing guard over two ghouls still alive after the attack on Camp Kaboom. He held a double-barreled ten-guage shotgun over them. He and Carlos Ramirez both looked at Harry Dresden funny when he started to speak to the ghouls in their ancient language. He wanted to turn the prisoners over to trainees so that he could go with Ramirez and Dresden to rescue the Trailman Twins; when they failed he returned to torture those ghoul prisoners and presumably, Bill was there to see it.[2]

Turn CoatEdit

In Turn Coat, Harry Dresden called him up trying to gather what information he can on the search for Donald Morgan without arrousing suspicion. He told Dresden that he saw two Wardens coming out of the local entrance to Ways but refused to tell him what was up. He thought Dresden would know what was going on and planned to call him in the morning.[3]

"Bigfoot on Campus"Edit

In "Bigfoot on Campus", Meyers bailed Harry Dresden out of prison after Strength of a River in His Shoulders destroyed the dorm where Irwin Pounder used to live.[4]

Cold DaysEdit

In Cold Days, Bill Meyers was in Texas giving the Fomor hell. Carlos Ramirez had been hurt real bad the previous year against them, and was not yet back in action. The Wardens in Baltimore and San Diego were holding their own.[1]

Harry Dresden says to Bill that Council considers the "US Wardens a bunch of mushrooms. Kept in the dark and fed on bullshit." [3]
